Altitude Control Technology is Hiring an Installation Technician Near Vail, CO

MUST BE LOCATED NEAR SUMMIT COUNTY, EAGLE COUNTY or PITKIN COUNTY

Installation Technician Position

Job Description
Unique opportunity to join a quickly growing business that serves the luxury home market as well as professional athletics and world renowned research institutes. Our industry leading altitude simulation systems are used globally, from private residences in the hills of Aspen, to Olympic training centers around the world and even in the Smithsonian in Washington DC.

This position will be based out of Edwards CO with installations performed in locations such as Aspen, Vail, Summit County, and Telluride and Park City, UT with occasional travel to other states.

We are looking for someone with general construction experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, dry wall, or general contracting). The position requires someone who is self motivated, hard working, detail oriented and able to produce high quality work.

Duties

  • Install ACT oxygenation systems.
  • Run PEX and PVC lines
  • Run and terminate data cables.
  • Drywall demo and repair experience is preferred but not required.
  • Painting
  • Core drilling.
  • Basic woodworking skills.
  • Build mechanical racks (unistrut).
  • Seal rooms to minimize air exchange (this could involve installing door seals, caulking windows and other room penetrations).
  • Travel to remote sites for installation, customer service issues and to coordinate projects with other trades.
  • Work with 3rd party contractors. Most of our jobs require cooperation with other trades. Must be able to effectively communicate and cooperate with contractors.
  • Assist with the facility maintenance, product assembly and other general duties.
  • Must be proficient with phone and computer applications.
  • Work with facility management for customer service resolution.
  • We are a small but growing company. Everyone pitches in wherever needed from time to time and maintains a positive attitude.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with 5 years of construction experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting) who can work independently. Must have a building/engineering mindset or background and be proficient with tools, and have a customer service oriented work philosophy. Position also requires proficiency with basic computer programs - email, google docs, industry apps and systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000 - $100,000 per year DOE and Location.
